INFORMATION ON THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

What is personal data?

§ 3 para. 1 Federal Data Protection Act defines personal data as individual details über personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number as well as the IP address with which your computer can be identified. You do not have to provide any personal data in order to use this website.

Use Data

The sole purpose of this website is to provide information about my work as a freelance consultant, my profile and skills. When you access our website and do not otherwise submit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This data is necessary for you to view and navigate this website. The legal basis for the collection of the data is Art. 6 (1) f) EU General Data Protection Regulation. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and the like.

In particular, they are processed for the following purposes:
• Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website,
• Ensuring a smooth use of our website,
• evaluation of system security and stability, and
•  to optimize our website.

We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. Information of this kind is statistically analyzed anonymously by us, if necessary, in order to optimize our website and the technology behind it. Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as order processors for the operation and maintenance of our website. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the IP address, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed. In addition, individual services and services may not be available or may be limited. For this reason, an objection is excluded. 

Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to the data we have stored about you:

• Correction of incorrect personal data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• Deletion of your data stored by us (Art. 17 GDPR),
• Restriction of data processing if we are not yet allowed to delete your data due to legal obligations (Art. 18 GDPR),
• objection to the processing of your data by us (Art. 21 GDPR) and
• Data portability, provided that you have consented to the data processing or have concluded a contract with us (Art. 20 GDPR).

If you have given us consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future.

You may at any time lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the competent supervisory authority in the federal state of your residence or the authority responsible for us as the controller.

Contact form

The data you enter will be stored for the purpose of individual communication with you. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address and your name. This serves the assignment of the request and the subsequent response to the same. The provision of further data is optional. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

By providing the contact form, we will enable you to contact us in an uncomplicated manner. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request a quote, the data entered in the contact form will be processed to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Recipients of the data are, if applicable, order processors. The data will be deleted no later than 6 months after processing the request. If there is a contractual relationship, the statutory retention periods apply.

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your request if you provide us with your name, e-mail address and the reason for the request.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use "Google Web Fonts" from Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google") on this website to display fonts.

If you object, your personal data will no longer be processed unless compelling legitimate grounds for the processing can be demonstrated which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Use of cookies

These are small files that are stored on your computer (in your browser) after visiting this website. Unauthorised access to data by third parties

Every transmission of data via the Internet involves the risk that unauthorised third parties may gain access to your data or, for example, the content of e-mails. Complete protection is not possible, even with the utmost care.

Objection to unsolicited advertising

I object to any use of my contact details by third parties for the purpose of sending me unsolicited advertising in any form. In case of infringement, I reserve the right to take legal action against the sender.
